Antiquing in the Arthur Amish Country

Visit the Arthur Amish country on Friday March 5 and Saturday March 6, 2010 and again on Friday November 12th and Saturday November 134th to enjoy the annual Arthur Antique Weekends  and primitive shows.

The Homesteaders on the Prairie antique show will take place at the Moultrie-Douglas County Fairgrounds located in Arthur, IL behind the Arthur High School.  There will be an "Early Pick'n" Preview that takes place from 5-8 p.m. on Friday the 5thth.  The main show will take place on Saturday March 6th.  For more information call Rachel Engel at (618) 245-2111

Also taking place  will be the  annual "Spirit of Seasons" country primitive antique show and sale at the Otto Center located in Arthur.  The "Spirit of Seasons" show takes place on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 3 pm.  If you would like more information contact Donna Kibler at (217) 620-8983.

While you are in the Arthur Amish country make sure to pay a visit to Yoder's Lamps, Antiques, and Collectibles located in downtown Arthur.  Yoder's Lamps, Antiques and Collectibles is celebrating their second year in their new location and welcomes antique collectors to come in and see their large selection of antiques and primitives.
