To commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence outside of Philadelphia’s State House on July 8th 1776 which formally marked the birth of our new nation,  Arthur will join cities and towns across the USA with a public reading at 5PM CST at the Arthur Welcome Center.

Light refreshments of traditional desserts of the 18th century like Apple Pan Dowdy and Peach and Lavender Ice Cream will be served.
