General Information: Please read completely!
1. All quilts must be registered by April 13, 2026.
2. Mail registration forms to: Arthur Quilt Show ℅ Jolene Stutzman, 220 S. Vine, Arthur, IL 61911
3. Please fill out BOTH the top and bottom forms with accurate and detailed information.
4. Show limit of 6 quilts per person, 3 large/3 small.
5. Entry fee is $2.00 per entry. Enclose the fee with pre-registration form.
6. One form is required for each quilt. Form may be duplicated.
7. We reserve the right to change the category or refuse any item(s) based on the description given, or when delivered on Tuesday, April 22nd.
8. 2025 prize-winning quilts are not eligible for 2026 contest awards but will be accepted for exhibition ONLY.
9. Bring Quilts to Otto Center, 1⁄2 mile south of Arthur, 2056 County Road 1800 East, Arthur on Tuesday, April 28th between 9 AM to 6 PM.
10. Do not mail quilts.
11. Pick-up quilts on Saturday, May 2nd between 3:15 and 4:00 PM.
We have assigned categories to quilts depending on their age, size, type, and methods used to help you in your quilt category placement.
12. Quilt definition: A quilt consists of 3 layers~ two layers of cloth filled with “batting” material held together by a stitched
design. Quilt may be embellished with material other than cloth.
13. Please read the following descriptions carefully, then select the category that best fits your quilt. Put that number on the pre-registration form.
SMALL SIZE QUILTS – No side should be over 64”. You may enter up to three.
100 Youth Quilters: Any size – Open to youth 17 years and younger. Majority of the quilt top must be made and
entered by the Youth. Entry may be quilted by another quilter. Hand or machine quilted. (2)
200 Baby / Wall / Lap: Smaller than a twin. Hand or Machine quilted. (1)
300 Mixed Media / Artistic: Any size Entry must contain mixed media items such as embellishments of any kind,
painting, beading, etc. Hand or Machine quilted. (2)
400 Heirloom: Any size, must be at least 40 years old an in condition to hang during the show. Hand or Machine quilted.
The Arthur Quilt Show is NOT responsible for any damage to quilts in poor condition. (2)
500 Embroidery & Applique: Appliqued by hand or machine. Hand or Machine quilted. (1)
600 Pieced: Twin or Larger, Hand Quilted Only. (1)
700 Pieced: Twin or Larger, Machine Quilted Only. (1)
800 “LAND THAT I LOVE” Challenge category Patriotic Theme Quilts in celebration of the 250th celebration of American Independence. (3)
